Mrs. Chinyere Obianụjụ Bob-Madumere

(Nee Ozonzeadi)

Chinyere Obianụjụ Bob-Madumere (Nee Ozonzeadi) is an innovative educator who is deeply passionate about seeing parents and children speak their native language. She is a certified teacher, a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), and holds a Master's degree in Igbo. She currently serves as a Director at NGHOTAIGBO Educational Services Limited, an organisation providing excellent educational resources that enable Igbo teachers and learners to teach and learn Igbo with ease.

Her passion for teaching and learning the Igbo language began in early 2017 in Port Harcourt when her children were in their pre-teen stage of development. Determined to pass on her heritage, she became intentional about teaching them the Igbo language at home. Before the end of 2017, her children were already communicating confidently among themselves in Igbo.

She took her passion further by quitting her job and accepting a voluntary position as an Igbo Language teacher in two schools near her residence, where she taught for free. After performing exceptionally well in this role for two terms, she secured paid contracts as an Igbo Language teacher in both local and international schools. Today, she consults for schools that require the services of Igbo Language teachers and actively coaches parents on how to motivate their children to speak Igbo.

Committed to continuous excellence in education, Mrs. Bob-Madumere has attended several educational trainings and workshops organised by Cambridge-certified instructors—including The 21st Century Learning Design, Student Engagement Learning, and Student-Centred Learning. She has also completed leadership training programmes organised by John Maxwell Leadership.

She is the author of Nghọta na Mmụta Asụsụ Igbo, a series of foundational Igbo language books that combine elements of the Nigerian curriculum and selected foreign language curricula. These books help Igbo language learners understand, step by step, how to speak, read, and write the Igbo language through fun-filled and engaging activities. She has written numerous quotes and articles aimed at motivating people to speak Igbo, and speaks at conferences and cultural gatherings.

Leaving the Blame Game Behind

Have you ever felt frustrated after learning a particular Igbo word, only to forget it when standing in front of a native Igbo speaker? Do you dream of speaking Igbo fluently or raising children who can confidently communicate in Igbo, only to meet a dead end?

Many learners and parents have bought books, paid tutors, and made genuine efforts to speak Igbo with others or teach it to their children, only to discover that their efforts were not yielding the desired results. Some eventually resigned themselves to fate. The pain of not being able to speak Igbo, or seeing their children unable to speak it, has even led some to blame parents, spouses, and relatives.

Let's leave the blame game behind. We are here at NGHOTAIGBO to assist, inspire, and challenge you so that your dream of speaking and teaching the Igbo language can become a reality.

“NGHOTAIGBO Educational Services Limited is an organisation that provides excellent educational resources, enabling Igbo teachers and learners to teach and learn the Igbo language with ease.”

Our desire is to inspire, encourage, and support Igbo learners and parents who want to learn Igbo or teach it to their children with joy and confidence.
